Tashkent Tourism Fair

Following my participation at the General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organisation in Uzbekistan in October, I am returning to moderate two sessions at the Tashkent International Tourism Fair. This event marks a significant gathering for travel professionals in Central Asia.

The first session I will moderate is the Presentation of New Destinations, scheduled for 16:00 on November 15. This session will focus on introducing new travel destinations and discussing emerging trends in the tourism industry.

Additionally, on November 17 at 11:00, I will lead a session titled “The Role of IT and Social Networks in Tourism.” This session will explore the impact of technology and social media on travel and tourism, a pertinent topic in today’s digitally connected world.

In line with these discussions, I would like to mention Uzbekistan’s recent advertising campaign on BBC World News. This campaign includes three short films by DARS FILMS, showcasing Uzbekistan’s diverse history, culture and nature. These films highlight the unique appeal of Uzbekistan as a travel destination.

As the travel industry adapts and grows post-COVID-19, events like the Tashkent International Tourism Fair are crucial for sharing knowledge and exploring new opportunities. I look forward to engaging with fellow professionals and contributing to these important discussions.

Stay tuned for updates and insights from the fair. Send me your comments and questions!
