I was deeply honoured to receive the “Turizm Fidoyisi” (Devoted to Tourism) medal from the Government of Uzbekistan—awarded by the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan in recognition of my contribution to the country’s tourism development. The award was presented to me by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Mr. Umid Shadiev, during the World Travel Market in London. I am sincerely grateful to the Minister, Mr Aziz Abdukhakimov and to the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Mr Umid Shadiev, for this recognition and appreciation of my work.
Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with this incredible country. For me, tourism in Uzbekistan is not only about economic growth—it’s a powerful platform that reflects the faith and identity of the nation.
Tourism brings new sympathies, strengthens Uzbekistan’s global image, attracts investment, and helps the country further integrate into the international community. I’m proud to be a part of this journey and to continue supporting Uzbekistan’s transformation into a world-class tourism destination.
