Investment Forum “Russia Calling” has been held annually since 2009. VTB Capital organises it. Russia Calling is the largest investment forum in Russia with the most influential speakers from the Russian government and the international financial world. In 2020 Russia Calling Forum organised in an online format. The central theme of the Forum is “Global Challenges, Local Remedies”.
I took part in Russia Calling Forum for the first time in 2010 when I was moderating a panel RUSSIA’S IMAGE IN THE EYES OF INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS. It was great to have among panellist Jochem Wermuth, Chief Investment Officer of Wermuth Asset Management GmbH, Gerda Lenga, CEO of the KNAUF Group CIS, Jacob Grapengiesser, Partner at East Capital and media representatives from the Wall Street Journal (William Mauldin, Deputy Bureau Chief), Bloomberg Television (Ryan Chicote), Institutional Investor (Craig Mellow), RIA Novosti (Deputy Editor-in-Chief).
