I first went to Baku to celebrate Nowruz back in March 2015 — and since then, this beautiful tradition has become a special part of my life. Almost every year, I’ve been lucky to celebrate Nowruz either in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, or Kazakhstan, together with wonderful friends, colleagues, and partners who’ve opened their hearts and homes during this magical time.
This year, I’m staying in London, but my heart and soul are with all of you — many miles away — as you welcome spring, renewal, and light. The music, the warmth, the generosity, the beauty of Nowruz stay with me always, and I look forward to the day we celebrate together again.
